Dallas Wedding Photographer // Taylor + Cameron Engaged

Taylor & Cameron have the sweetest story. Cameron surprised Taylor with a proposal on the beach of Galveston, with their family all around. Their love for the water and being outdoors was incorporated in their lakeside engagement session. It was such beautiful clear, crisp day. We started off at a park with tall trees and golden sunlight. We then walked down to a dock where we the water was peaceful and calm. We watched the ducks and swans swim by, then they snuggled up in a blanket and gazed out at the water, while the the sun went down. The love they share is just like the setting sun -- vibrant, warm and cherished. Taylor & Cameron will be married at the White Sparrow in Quinlan, Texas next fall. I'm so excited to capture their precious love on their wedding day.

Dallas Wedding Photographer // Tuscan Romance Bridal Inspiration

What started as a rainy day filled with huge gusts of winds turned into a romantic Bridal Inspiration at a Tuscan inspired villa, Aristide in Mansfield, Texas. Aristide is one of my favorite venues near Dallas, Texas. With it's pointed rooftops and ivy covered stone walls, it feels as if you're transported to a hidden gem in Italy.

My goal was to capture my bride as if before her Wedding on a cloudy European Day. Just when my stunning bride, Jordan Main was ready to be photographed, the clouds parted and the rain stopped. With puddles surrounding her bare feet, she effortlessly captured the dewy, windswept romance I envisioned. As Jordan made her way up the rain covered stone steps, my heart skipped a beat. Her golden blonde hair and fair skin made her stand out against the moody tones of the Tuscan brick. The long train of her dress glided across the wet steps as she made her way to the top. The wind blew perfectly, and her hair softly danced upon her shoulders.

The talented Beauty & the Blush gave our model a natural bridal makeup look. Rayven styled her hair with fresh eucalyptus and sweet white ranunculus.

The bride's stunning wedding bouquet was designed and created by Faith Ann Pitts with Fox and the Fleur. As well as the beautiful blooms in the bride's hair and styled with the invitation suite.

Our lovely cake was designed by Julie Vorce with Pink Apron Pastry. The ruffles made the cake so romantic and airy. Against the cobblestone walls, it truly was a beautiful contrast of feminine and rustic.

The hand-lettered invitation suite, menu, and place cards where created by Polished Pen Calligraphy. Kelly's use of watercolor calligraphy was the perfect touch.

I was so honored to work with such talented creatives and I am so pleased with how the rain made this Tuscan Bridal Inspiration unexpectedly perfect.
